PRINCIPALI ATTIVITÀ

  • MYGRO is a multidisciplinary working group that studies several aspects of mycobacterial diseases
  • The study group meets virtually or in person 3-4 times a year and regular meeting minutes are developed showing the ongoing projects, the focus groups and the proposed deadlines

FINALITÀ ED OBIETTIVI

  • Areas of research include the prevalence, pathogenesis, diagnosis and treatment of TB and NTM-diseases with a specific focus on patients with immune-deficiencies.
  • Aim of the group is also to be part of the End TB strategy and raise awareness on these diseases (both in the general population and in policy makers
